Hello there! I haven't been blogging for a long time. I feel that I have to end the hiatus after organizing stuff for my home-based job. In a Daze of Confusion

I'm completely confused over things now.

I have been ranting about my current job condition for almost half of year 2010. A lot of ridiculous changes took place and many people had been complaining about it already. Had it not because of the job that we have for the moment, others would not stay. Others have kids and families to support and feed, and are very anxious to make another step. Practicality, as we all say.

The work condition has gone far from worse, which, in turn, made me come to a decision. When I say worse, what I mean is, I almost have no time to eat, no time to go pee and all sorts of stuff that are risky for my not-so-good health. I am getting tired of the routine, and the people that I work with are now irritating, compared to the past. I do love my job. It is my life. But how can I survive if the "life" that I'm living for would eventually kill the living life out of me. Got the point? So, I decided to be an office-girl to a home-based girl. I haven't started yet, but I will soon. I have been interviewed this morning and the owner of the company likes me that he wanted me to start immediately.

Our friend, who works for the same company as the manager (and was our officemate and trainee of my fiance), informed me about impending risks, since some students wanted to have sample classes with me on Monday. Problem is, I haven't passed a resignation letter yet. Also, I just can't leave without saying goodbye to my students. I dearly love them so much.

I am now confused because I don't know if I really made the right decision. I am still anxious because Honey hasn't found a new job yet. If I wait for another two weeks (two weeks notice/resignation effectivity), I might miss the chance to get my own students and not earn that much (the owner said "more students, more money). I am worried now. I am worried because if we don't earn enough, we might not get enough funds for our wedding. =(

I wish I really made the right decision. I wish Honey could easily get a job. If not, our wedding would have to be postponed again.

I hope my current students go with me to my new company so we can continue the bond that we had.... I also hope that this decision is right, that it would help me become more productive. God help me....

Sorry guys, I'm MIA these days... I should be blogging more because it's my birthday month.

There's just many things going on at work.... It's all about work, work, WORK!!!

51st Blog Entry: Really Dying to Blog!!!

It is only a few days before I get my hands on my laptop... and I am really dying to blog. I had a lot to blog about the month of June, but it was restricted to browse "illegal" sites (Facebook, Twitter, yahoo - yes, you read it right: YAHOO! A blog is considered a social network thingy, so, it's also restricted.). Besides, I was quite busy and stressed these days, due to the fact that the end is coming. Darn! its so sad because I really love my job. The company went well and earned a lot but all of a sudden, some issues rose and now the main office (our branch) is at stake. I don't want to think of that for the meantime since it really depresses me. Let's stop ranting there. I don't want to spoil the day.

On Monday, Honey will buy me a laptop. Two of his choices are: Neo Basic B2240 and Acer Gateway LT2028H. What can you say about them? Which one do you think works better, looks better, and suits me more? Well, I will not only use it for blogging, but if you read my last post, I am planning to start an online shop. I'll sell clothes, shoes, make-up (from U.S - that is, if our future Ninang agrees to the plan, which, Honey's mom thinks that would be a two thumbs up. Hi) and if ever, I'll try to make accessories, too. =)

Today, one of our college friends dropped by the office to meet Honey and brought me a Strawberry Frappe. I love strawberries. So sweet of him. ^__^

Tomorrow will be what me and my circle of office friends call "Exodus". Every body plans to wear black for this "occassion". Well, I only hope it's not the one we are expecting. =(

It's a Toxic Monday!!!

Gosh! It's Monday already... I am still not over the weekend yet... I still wanna rest!

Okay. I've been gone for a couple of days and I missed blogging. I'll update you about the weekend...

MAY 29, 2010, SATURDAY

Honey's mom and dad woke me up to ask if I want to go with them to Bataan because one of their relatives died. I was uncertain and waited for Honey's answer. At first, they thought of bringing the whole family there but we all realized how big the expense would be. So, in the end, his parents and PM (Honey's nephew) went there. His siblings and I stayed home. So what did we do? Honey and I had a Korean movie marathon. At first, we watched The Last Present (선물). It was a drama. I wasn't in the mood to watch a drama at all, Honey just accidentally played it and thus, we began watching it. Honestly, I cannot recall how many times have I cried because of the story. Guess I'm such a crybaby at all!!! Hahaha!

Last Present

Next movie was 100 Days with Mr. Arrogant. Funny movie this time. If you like Korean stuff and wanna learn things about them, better start watching their movies. You'll enjoy watching them because the quality of their movies are great! They can match Hollywood movies. I often wonder how they do it and also wonder if Filipinos can also do the same thing.

We brought Woody and Aki in the room and watched them play at the same time. As I've said before, I want to train the two to get tired of playing around when they're together. After about 10 minutes of playing, the two babies got tired and slept. Hehehe... After eating dinner, we went out with the dogs and walked them around the neighborhood. It was so fun!

MAY 30, 2010, SUNDAY

We gave the little babies their baths and Seon Deok stayed with us the whole day because Mark was busy for the SKP Graduation (it's like a summer class for kindergarten, conducted by the church). I prepared early for Church and decided to put on make-up. I usually put on simple make-up but I don't know the reason for being pretty in going to church. Honey plays the organ at church and we usually stay a bit longer to wait for him. I think the choir members were eyeing me again (makes me think that they're talking about me and Honey, and wonders how we became couples - Haha! Talk about conceitedness! ). Anyway, I feel happy because some people appreciate my "beauty" (can't say the word straight! haha!). It challenges me to stay pretty, too, when people see me and Honey around... Like when we had a mini-reunion with Honey's college batchmates, his friends and classmates said, "Wow! It's been four years! They're getting stronger!" and of course, they noticed my glow (to think that I only put on a little make-up that day. ^__~). Oh well! Honey feels so proud of how I take care of myself and he appreciates my effort in keeping myself beautiful. ^__^

We went home and I felt so tired and sleepy, so I went to my room to rest. I think I was half-awake; I felt my body was pressing against my bed and I just couldn't stand up. I didn't notice that I was already staying there for three hours! I thought someone was calling me for dinner but when I asked Honey if they ate dinner already, he said, no one has eaten dinner yet. It was already 10:00 pm. We ate dinner at 11:00. Played with the little babies and fell asleep fast after doing so.

MAY 31, 2010, MONDAY

Gosh! I woke up to Woody's nudges. He got all excited because Honey arrived home from church practice (they go to church at 4:30 or 5:00 (???) in the morning to have a practice the songs for the week.) I had breakfast and slept again in my bedroom. I woke up at 10:00 in the morning and saw Honey sleeping. Poor Honey! But I completely understand the reason why he had to wake up really early during Mondays, Wednesdays and/or Thursdays. I woke him up and asked about our lunch and packed food for work. He asked me to cook a kilo of my Tuna Fettuccine. We brought some to work. ^__^

Here's when the toxic day started. A co-worker was absent (again! - He's always absent!) and my GL had to give one of his classes to me since I'm available. Good thing about it was I don't have to make a report about the class since it's a Free Level Test - meaning, it's a trial class. The absent teacher's GL sent me files - lots of them - that I can use for the class. What pissed me off is that when I asked about which material to use, she told me that it depends on me. I had time to browse the folders so, I found a file right for the student. Good heavens! I really found the right material for her because she's a level 0 - meaning, the student can't speak and understand English at all! I understand her. and If only I can see her (she doesn't have a camera), I think I could have helped her more. It's easier for me if I see the student. But still, I felt relieved to help the poor student answer some of the questions. =)

Okay, free level test was over. Here comes, the supervisor out of nowhere. He gave me a class a couple of minutes before the time! He apologized because he said the teacher is feeling bad at that time. And so, I had to scramble templates for the kid as we were having the rapport part. OMG! I inform my GL about these situations ahead of time, so she can brace herself! I also want to avoid "giving away" my students. I want to have classes with them as much as I can.

Some minor toxic stuff. GL asked us to look for files for QA. It's automatic, I mean, It's understood that we should do this every month. What made it toxic was that it had to go along the major toxic subclasses. Anyhow, I was able to pick one recording for it. I only had to do it after these subclasses. ^__^

I had lesser students today. So, I was able to make templates for the next day's class. I checked my schedule for next month and I saw three of my students (who work in big Korean companies) re-enrolled for the month of June. So, same schedule as May. I hope we can complete June without lates. I intend to buy some stuff with our incentives. ^__^

RANDOM, RANDOM, RANDOM STUFF!!!

It was a nice week for me… not much problems… Or, maybe I have forgotten them. =D

My make-up stuff aren't that good that's why the colors aren't as intense as they supposed to be. I'll try to find a solution for this. ^__~

I noticed my hair is okay these days... Straight and shiny... looks healthy, too (except for the ends! XD). Honestly, I only use shampoo and conditioner... What's with me? Am I morphing?!? Hahaha!!! I am almost about to change my mind to getting a haircut... XD

Anyway, I was getting a lot of comments that I am pretty (???) these days… I wonder why. It was so random! My blog friends, some followers and even my real life friends tell me the same thing. I really wonder why… maybe my make-up brushes do me wonders! Hahaha!

I’d be starting to lay-out our wedding plans. I have to lock up Honey in the room so we can talk about it. I want him to be a big part of it. I remember him telling me that he wants anything that would make me happy on our wedding day. But of course, I still want him to take part in it. Besides, it’s a brain racking thing, huh! Hehehe…

I am itching to buy a laptop… I need it for work, the wedding research and planning, BLOGGING, and I want to start a little online business. Any recommendations? What can you say about the "little online business"? =)

OFFICE STUFF

Oh! Me is sad today. I knew that our team would be dissolved and news came out yesterday that I’ll be distributed to a group that I don’t completely know. I would agree if it’s from the same shift, but, they’ll be transferring me to a group originally from the PM shift! Honestly, I don’t like the vibes of most people in the PM. Many of them are (*excuse me*) pretentious. I asked Honey about the people that I’ll soon work with and he said they’re kinda “okay”, but I disagree… oh well, he is our trainer. He knows much. I might try to contest about this transfer or I’ll just lock myself more often in my station if that happens. Anyway, maybe by December, I’ll be applying in a public high school and resign soon before or after the wedding. Just a little patience, Angel… Just a little patience… =S

Sad! so sad!!! Felt crappy!!!

So far, that’s the only thing that ruined my week. My students have cheered me up by doing such things: (I'll be talking about them next time. ^__^)

I decided to take a snapshot before saying goodbye... I felt so fresh and pretty here... =D

This sweetheart is so talented! She can play the piano, dance, do crafts and a lot more! Here, she's playing some songs for me. It's the boy's friend and neighbor, anyway. (I guess they recommended me. ^__^)

I'm Back!!!: Updates about the Weekend plus FOTD ^__^

Hello Blogworld!!! I'm back! ^__^

I got sick last week and if you read my last blog entry, it occurred here, at work. I don't know the reason, maybe because of the condition I have. Anyway, it seemed a long weekend for me since I was absent from work last Thursday then there's no work last Friday because it was Buddha's birthday in Korea.

MAY 19, 2010, WEDNESDAY

As per my previous blog, I had a fever and was having chills while teaching. I didn't expect that I'll have fever the whole night till morning the next day. Woody, my mini pinscher, which sleeps in my bedroom, might have known that I am sick, so, he avoided to sleep beside me. We were not able to play because of that. I felt bad for him, but I was touched by his sweetness. He kissed me good night and he slept farther from me. I was sick but I still appreciated his cute face that morn-night. I wish I could have taken a shot, but my body was aching terribly and I felt helpless that time. So, I tried to sleep. Failed! I couldn't sleep because of the fever and the pain. =(

MAY 20, 2010, THURSDAY

I guess the maid woke up not because of the motorcycle she heard outside, but because of my whines and cries. A little later, she was wiping a wet towel over my head, my arms and my legs. It wasn't that cold, but it was okay, I think it also helped suppress the rising temperature of my body. She kept doing it until I was a bit relieved. Come morning, she was saying indirectly that she'll ask my Honey to buy me medicines. I went down at around 6 am to go to the bathroom. Honey's dad saw me and asked me how I felt. He already gave the maid money to buy me meds because Honey hasn't arrived home yet. I was actually worried because I give Honey's mom her shots of insulin; I don't know who will do it for her. So, I took a rest then, after an hour, the fever has gone a bit. I was able to give her insulin shots. I took lots of rest, hoping to be at work in the afternoon. I was bathing in sweat and it was terribly hot not because of my fever, but the weather also helped in making me sweat a lot! After eating a bit, I took another sleep... I realized that all I did was sleep that day!!! =D

Honey went home and saw me sleeping at their place. He always like me to sleep there whenever I don't feel good because he worries that something might happen to me since I (used to be) am alone in my room. Besides, he wants me to bug him as soon as I feel something strange. Hey! It's our monthsary already! He didn't bring me home anything but he bought food for us. ^__^

MAY 21, 2010, FRIDAY

No work. It's Buddha's Birthday. I felt a bit better now. I did a few things around the house but light chores only. Honey's parents were very careful and concerned about me, telling me to take it easy because I might get a fever again. Honey helped the maid wash clothes and we had lots of snacks in the afternoon. It was fun! We had pizza and sushi. It was a simple celebration for us. ^__^

Honey went to organists class in Tondo and when he arrived home, he bought his nephew and niece toys. He also bought me... a SNAKES AND LADDERS GAME! Hahaha!!! I was actually complaining, telling him that I wanted a Scrabble game. I accepted it anyway. I thought of an idea to make this game exciting: adding questions! I apply this kind of board game in class, and I think it would be a lot fun if we ask questions, instead of going up the ladder and sliding down the snake. Exciting, ayt? Hehehe...

MAY 22, 2010, SATURDAY

Manila Zoo Day with the kids. PM, Honey's nephew, woke us up and kept telling us that he's ready to go to the zoo.

We went to the zoo at around 10 in the morning, just the four of us: Me, Honey, PM and France. When we arrived there, PM saw the elephant and was scared to go near it. He was also scared to go in the reptile house. Hehehe... Generally speaking, PM was cowardly scared of the animals in the zoo so, we kept on teasing him that he's gay! Hahaha!!!

After seeing the animals in the zoo, we went to SM Manila to eat and wander around. We went home at around 4 in the afternoon. ^__^

Mark dropped by at the house and paid us a visit. He didn't bring Seon Deok. We went to 7-11 with Woody and Aki just to buy food and drinks. We stayed outside until 12 am. Fun! ^__^

Woody slept beside me while we watched "Hachiko". It was a touching dog movie based on real events. Must see for dog-lovers. ^__~

MAY 23, 2010, SUNDAY

Stayed home with the "family" (I consider my future-in-laws my family-we are like a real family-its as if Honey and his siblings are only my cousins. I feel like a part of the family already because Honey's parents treat me like their daughter. ^__^ ).

Ate and slept and went to church in the afternoon. After church, we went to SM (Save More) to buy some food. We purchased a few items only, but we were seven in number... hehehe....

The day ended nicely. It felt refreshed and looked forward to blogging my long weekend experiences. =)
