Love All the Way from Korea: Teacher's Day Present from my Student

May 15th is Teacher's Day in Korea.

I wasn't expecting to receive something from my student.

But hey! Last May 20th, I got a box of love all the way from Korea!

I'll let the pictures do the talking...

A boxful of love for Teacher...

Ta-daaaa! The chocolate she made isn't here... I put it in the fridge... =D
(AND STILL HAVEN'T EATEN IT UNTIL NOW! =D)

Lotte I.D Mystery Gum carefully packed and adorned with a cute chocolate brown bow...

Two Lotte I.D Gum packs! ^__^

A close look... Korean friends, can you read it for me? =D

Nice black box...

 Take a guess...

It's a handmade Korean cellphone chain!

A lovely pouch that would pass as my "something blue"...

Super love the Asian detailing... ^__^

Can you guess what's inside?

Loads of Lotte Any Time Candies! ^__^

Honey loves the blue ones while I love the pink ones... =)

A beautifully crafted pencil case in vivid Korean colors...

Butterfly chain accent...

More candies!

Sun Saeng Kaendi (Sun Saeng Candies)!
(I actually forgot how my student read it... I tried to romanize it myself for this post... teehee! Looks like I gotta keep learning Hangeul!)

A gift? Beautifully wrapped...

A pretty light pink paper fan...
I'm going to save this one for the wedding... =)

They always have the loop-y accent... Pretty, though... =)

A lovely stainless (?) bookmark...

She must know that I love reading books (when I have time! hahaha!)...

But something that she didn't know was I will just keep this, like the set of pretty chopsticks with cases from my other student... hahaha!!! =D

And the best part of the present...

Seeing her put an effort in writing a note for me makes my heart melt with so much joy!!!

^ ᴥ ^

This was me while I was showing her the candies from the box...

She said "Teacher, I have!", ran to their kitchen and shouting "Eoma!"...

Came back to show me her candies...

I took a screen cap and thinking that she still don't have any idea that I got her present, I showed her note and do you know what she did?

Her chinky eyes went big, gasped and screamed "Eoma!!! (Speaking in Korean while pointing at the screen)"...

I can't stop myself from saying "Thank you" over and over again...

The thought of being cared for and remembered by a student is a great pleasure for a teacher...

I am so happy to have taken this path...

To all future teachers out there, take pride and pleasure in educating your students. Don't expect anything in return. What matters is that you made a big impact in their lives, to improve and grow a good individual. =)

I hope you enjoyed my post. ^__^

Please give me more love! Please comment below!!! =)

Yes! I super love it! Although the grammar was strange, I still appreciate it because she made a big effort to make me smile. I got teary-eyed, actually!!! =D

@Laine: Welcome and Thanks for following! ^__^

Sorry, I can't update my blog as of the moment. I'm super busy preparing for my wedding. Plus I can't take photos for my blog now because my trusty phone have deserted me already. But don't worry, I'll try to post more stuff as much as I can after the wedding's finished. =)

Thanks for the comment! ^__^
