Wedding Make-Up Haul

Here are some of the beauty stuff we got in preparation for the wedding... We went all the way to SM Makati to get these... Honey and I knew that the malls in Makati "have it all".

I refer to it as "Make-up Wonderland of the Philippines"... teehee! =D

I am still thinking of what I am missing... I'll be sharing my stash next time...

For now, here are the things we bought...

Marionnaud N32 Blush Brush

 Marionnaud N37 Pointed/Pencil Brush

 Marionnaud N33 Foundation Brush

I got these brushes because not only because I've read lots of good reviews about it, but because I feel that I must buy more brushes. The old brushes I got from Divisoria last year is starting to shed.

I'll be doing my own review and comparisons soon... =)

e.l.f Eye Primer & Liner Sealer

I have never used any eye primers before. This is my first! I have used it and so far, I am loving it. I hope it does it's job well on the actual wedding day! ^__^

Wet N' Wild Mega Plum Mascara in Very Black

I love, love, love mascaras. Mascara is one of my fiercest weapons in making my eyes prettily open up.

I am actually reserving this for the wedding day but I guess it won't hurt if I open it anytime soon, ayt? =D

Fanny Serrano Eyelash Curler

I've read about this in Cosmo Philippines Magazine. Before purchasing it, I asked the SA if it doesn't cut lashes, as my old e.l.f curler did to my precious lashes before. When that happened, I had to stick to the cheap P20/P50 curler... =D

The SA didn't have a hard time convincing me to get this I have read a lot of good reviews about this. Also, it was also molded using the same machine as the Shu Uemura's curler. Cool, right?

Fashion 21 Eyeliner in White and Fanny Serrano Soft Eye Pencil in Dark Brown and Black

I need to stock on eyeliners. =D

  Fanny Serrano Concealer in Chestnut

SA used this on me like a foundation. She said it's waterproof and it is usually used in underwater scenes for shootings. Good thing it didn't oxidize on me. I learned that I am acidic when I tested Revlon's Photoready and Spa Foundation. =D

Nichido Eyeshadow Palette in neutral colors

I was getting confused as I can't decide if I'll buy the Wet N' Wild Eyeshadow ColorIcon Trio when Honey and I saw this palette. It has more than three colors (obviously) plus a blush and bronzer. It also has the colors similar to the Wet N' Wild one. It's the last one left, so Honey and I grabbed it already. Hahaha!!!

PLUS a few personal stuff... =D

I guess I better create some wedding looks and choose one already. I must practice, practice, practice!

Any tips and pieces of advice from brides and make-up artists/enthusiasts out there? Feel free to comment! ^__^

PS: This was also done way back in April, sorry for posting it late. Teacher is super busy!

nice haul dear! i think you got everything covered. as for wedding day looks, i think it's best to go with neutral since you probably want to look like "YOU!" and just bring out your prettiest features. ;)

Thanks sweet Sugar! I still have to get a few more stuff... this wedding made me realize that I need more things on my small "collection" kung collection ngang matatawag yun...

As far as I know, my "prettiest" feature is my set of peepers... Actually, whenever I put on make-up, I always emphasize it... hehehe...

Zits should go na... I MUST create some looks for my wedding!!! =D

Sa SM Makati namin nabili yan ni hubby. I was actually looking for a different kind of primer, the liquid one. Since wala pa cla nung liquid type that time, we got the stick one. I only used the sealer once. I tried using it again but it became stingy to the eyes... =(
