Thanksgiving 2012 (Part 1): OOTD

Last week, our church celebrated its 98th Anniversary. We had our Thanksgiving last July 21st and 22nd. Let me share my OOTD, FOTD and EOTD on that very special occasion. ^__^

Let's start with my outfit.

 

Manels Wedges and Cinderella Concept Retro Dress

I bought the dress on the same day I got my Manels shoes. Hubby saw it and he made me try it on. I liked it because the cut is classic. It never goes out of style! ^__^

Catch Me, I'm Falling!

Hello again! I am trying to distract myself now. I still feel sick. I think my body is having a hard time now (Magic Days; Time of the Month). I've never felt so sick while having my period. So, here I am, trying to finish up my backlogs with Psy's Gangnam Style playing in my background. =D

Anyway, Did you find the title of this post cheesy? It has nothing to do with anyone's love story. Hehehe...

It's my new love! It's my new Catch wedge! ^__^

So pretty, right?

I got this last June, during the Independence Sale at SM City North Edsa, during one of our happy weekends.  Read about it here. =D

The first time I wore it was only last Sunday, during our Church's Thanksgiving. Wedges make me feel fab without having to worry about tripping, falling flat on my face or spraining my ankle. It gives me the added height and the illusion of longer legs.

I love the cute stripes on its sides.

What I love about it is, it feels comfy and snug. The garter makes it fit perfectly so it doesn't fall off my feet. Walking on it is a breeze! ^__^

I got the color white so it would coordinate easily with my other clothes. =)

I plan to wear this with my dresses, shirt and jeans combo and even pair it with shorts on hot days. =) 

Just imagine... shorts + wedges... looks nice, right? ^__^

Spikey(?) Sole

Another thing that I like about it is, the soles. It is not slippery, therefore safe to wear even if I carry around a kid! =D


Catch is by Manels. Yes. I used my Manels GCs for it. It was intended for him but he decided to give way and let me use it instead. Awww... sweet, right? ^__^


Lately, I am into fashion... clothes, shoes, bags and accessories... I'm a girl! I see lots of really nice stuff in the net and I am drooling to buy them all! Hahaha!


Oh well! I'll try to make aegyo to Jagi... =D

"Jagi... my birthday is coming... I want more shoes and clothes... puh-leeese? Saranghamnida!"

Happy Weekend of June (Part 1)

Hello! It's nearly July! ^__^

My June was a busy and a happy one! I was able to spend time with my hubby on weekends and he spoiled me with his home cooked meals! I want to catch up on my backlogs and share with you my June Weekends... =)

9th of June.

Let's start with...

My adorable little sister-in-law...

On the morning of June 9th, we went grocery shopping at the nearest SM SaveMore. My 1-year old sister-in-law loves riding the cart and doing funny and cute antics. Isn't she cute and "arte"? =D

FOTD: Powder + Lip Stain
I was supposed to have my L'oreal Chroma Straight Hair makeover done that day. An hour before the said schedule, Ms. Nikki of L'oreal Professionnel called me and informed me that the makeover was cancelled. Honestly, it killed my excitement but it's okay. =)

We just decided to go with my hubby's uncle to SM North Edsa.... =)

Lookie!!! NaRaYa bags! So pweeetee!!! ^__^

Naraya bags are so pretty and they look sturdy! I will convince the hubby to return there and buy me a pretty bag! I don't have much bags (since I work from home and I won't be needing them much anymore... hahaha!). I am thinking of buying some for me. I will be needing new bags soon. I MUST go to graduate school this year! =D

OOTD

Next stop: Manels

I brought with me the GCs I won from Ms. Charles because that was mainly the reason why we decided to go all the way to SM North. There's no Manels branch at SM San Lazaro and SM Manila.

Izza and I goofing around while waiting for his "Kuya" choose for his new shoes...

She's such a cute (and not to mention HEAVY!) girl! ^__~

Hubby getting annoyed at the SA... When she learned that we'll be using GCs, she told us that items bought with GCs will be sold in their regular price... in an annoying way. =(

Hubby and Mom-in-law got annoyed because the SA and the staff were unfriendly. No wonder, their store doesn't have a lot of customers on that day even if there was a mall-wide sale on that day. =(

Anyway, Hubby didn't find a style he liked, so he told me to use the GCs instead. =)

Oh my! I haven't taken a pic of my new shoes! =D

Mom-in-law bought 4 packs of Kettle Korn in Sweet Corn and Original "Sweet and Salty" Flavor... =D

I love popcorn a lot! ^__^

Hubby bought me a dress at Cinderella! ^__^

I'll wear this on our Mid-Year Thanksgiving and the shoes that I bought at Manels... ^__^

Funny that the first photo I showed was my little sister-in-law and ended it with her photo, too! =D

Just Got Lucky Series: GCs from Charles and More from Sugar

Another Just Got Lucky Post! ^__^

Last May, I won from Charles Angel's 1st Blog Anniversary. I joined the contest not for my own pleasure, but this time, for hubby. I really want to win the Manels GCs for him. 

Hubby loved shoes next to his Gundam collection. Hahaha!!! =D

Then Sugar of Whimsical Whatnots and Whatever contacted me on FB and told me my GCs are with her.

Then, one fine Saturday, hubby woke me up and told me that a package came in. As always, he was more excited than me and while I was trying to wake my sense up, he was already opening the package! Hahaha!!!
