A Year After... Plus An Invitation
Hello! I am sooo... back! Nearly a year after I gave birth to my firstborn, I am super back! So many changes, but dear angels, I am still ALIVE!
I wanted to write about so many things... from my birthing story, to my life as a new mommy, to being a working breastfeeding mom, to being a teacher after being a mom, to chattering about my little ray of sunshine. I guess I am managing my time kind of well because if not, I won't be able to write this post. Haha!
On the other hand, let me just quickly post about..
:
BRIGADA ESKWELA 2016
Brigada Eskwela is a project spearheaded by the Department of Education. It is designed to prepare the school through the aid of the community in line with the first day of classes. It will run from May 30 - June 4, 2016.
This year, the theme of Brigada Eskwela is:
"Tayo Para sa Paaralang Ligtas, Maayos, at Handa Mula Kindergarten Hanggang Senior High School."

It aims to prepare the school and make it a safe place for students not only during class, but also in times of calamities.
Let's all go out and support our local schools. Let's work hand in hand to make our schools a clean and safe place for the children of the future! ^__^
If you may ask, I work in P. Gomez Elementary School, Sta. Cruz, Manila. For those interested to volunteer or send in donations/in kind, kindly send me a message through Facebook, Twitter, or Email. Just hit the Contact Me up there. ^__^
See you around, sweethearts! ^_^

But...
Hooray for a new layout! I have to remove some clutter from my blog and I still need to add a few stuff but I am happy that slowly, my blog is coming back to life...
Thanks to Ms. Tipsy and Mr. Ponggo of the Googly Gooeys for the boost of inspiration and confidence! Now, I am not only inspired to write, but I am also now inclined to go back to my love of arts. Fill in the Blanks
I couldn't think of a good title, so, just fill in the blanks! Hahaha!
Anyway, the past few days, my hands have been itching to blog. However, I decided to organize and transfer my files from my laptop to an external hard drive. I have been using my laptop since 2010, I had the motherboard changed last year, and as much as I needed to buy a new one, I can't afford one right now; we have to prepare for our baby's arrival. ^_^
Today, I spent time preparing a few materials and gathering new ideas for my class this year. I want to prepare ahead of time so that when June comes, I would have less time to worry about. Also, I want to be able to spend more time with baby when he comes.
Oh! I am so excited!!! ^_^
I think this pregnancy has inspired me to do a lot of things. Even going back to blogging. I super admire mommy bloggers like my beloved Ms. Shen and Ms. Nikki because they were able to juggle their careers, blogging, and mommyhood. I wish I could do that too.
Going back to blogging, I deleted my old files, ones which I was supposed to write about a couple of years back. I told myself, "I'm giving myself another chance in blogging. I will start from scratch, just like how I started years ago."
To start anew, I browsed for free blogger layouts. unfortunately, I couldn't find "the one". How I wish I have the time and energy as well as the talent to design my own page. I want to start fresh that instead of trying my hand at designing, I wasted my precious time looking for the perfect design. I found gorgeous but affordable designs, but I am afraid to purchase one for some reasons. So, my blog design would have to wait. What's important is, I am writing again. :)
But I hope someone would be kind enough to help me with my blog design and all things blogging. :D
So, what do I write about next? My pregnancy? My teaching career?
Please join me as I embark into a new journey in my blogging life.
Wow! I feel so relieved! Finally! I was able to blog again! Woot!!! ^_^
Yup! I had my long tresses cut short! :D
Till my next post!

Hear Ye! Hear Ye!
I know, I know... I've been gone for too long. Blame it on my teaching career! Haha!
My first year and the succeeding months were tough, but slowly, I am getting the hang of it. They say many idealistic stuff about teaching (and I am an idealistic person, as one of our college friends said), saying that it is a noble job, the greatest of all professions, and blah, blah, blah... Once you get in the real "battleground" you'll see the reality of it all. I'm not saying that it isn't a fulfilling career, what I only mean is, it is an entirely different thing once you are in the real setup. So far, I am embracing it and still convincing myself that I am in the right track. I aim to provide my students the very best of what I could offer.
So, just as I have entitled this post, I have so much to share to you guys! So much that I don't know where to start...
Yes! We are pregnant! Right now, I am exactly 20 weeks on the way. The first photo up there was taken when I was only about 8 weeks pregnant. The second photo was my very first belly shot, taken last January. I think I should take a more recent belly pic one of these days.
So far, I am so joyous with this blessing because as early as now, our unborn baby has started to change our lives already. The husband is more caring and loving than ever. I mean, he's a bit more showy of his affection than before. I have so much to say about this whole pregnancy thing but let me take a break and put that in another post... hopefully. Hahaha!
Next, as far as teaching is concerned, I feel that I am taking the reins aleady. Slowly, but surely. This deserves another post.
And last, but not the least, beauty-related concerns? I am still up to that but I am starting to feel left behind with some beauty trends and whatnots. Yet, I am still passionate with this craft. I'm still learning and exploring new things to improve my knowledge. Yes. I am still the family's official makeup artist! Haha!
I'm hoping to be able to have more free time soon so that I could update my site with lots of things that goes on in my life. Also, I want to upload my latest beauty routine, some tutorials, and so much more! Let's hope that I'll be back to blogging for good. ^_^
Till then! Thanks for dropping by!!! ♡♡♡

Blogger No More
I've been gone for too long... a lot of things have been going through my head... Not that I am abandoning this blog, but, I guess, I lost touch of writing and expressing myself through writing and make-up. I want to continue running this blog but lately, I've been feeling so sick.
But, but, but... the make up inspirations that I see on my Facebook newsfeed is starting to tickle my imagination. It makes me want to play with my palettes!
I admire my favorite bloggers... They can keep up with blogging while they also go through their daily routines. I wish to have the same dedication so I could keep up with blogging.
Can anyone help me bring back my blogging mojo? I have so much to share, but when I try to face my computer to blog, I either get a writer's block, or other ideas would pop into my head.
My friend once said, "Do not lose touch of what you like doing. Continue living your dream and passion. It will keep you going and avoid you from getting burnt out."
I want to. I really do. Can someone inspire me? I can't even call myself a blogger any longer.

Angel is Back!!!
Why hello there, my little piece of heaven! ^__^
As you might have known, I had a plan to teach in the public school at the later part of 2012. And now, I have been teaching in one of the top public schools not just in Manila, but in the Philippines for three months now. It's a little rough, but I am enjoying it. Coping and adjusting will take a long way to go and for sure, it will be a bumpy ride for me. Yet, I hope that I am doing a good job in educating my kids. ^__^
2013 had sure been a wonderful year for me. I must be honest, that it was also tough for me. Career-wise, it was a big jump. I've been so used to the online ESL system for years. Imagine, I've been doing this kind of work for five years. Working full-time in a new environment was a total shock to me. When I went to the Division Office and they told me to report to school that same day, I wasn't even prepared! I'll write about this on a different post. *Writes down on a notepad* =)
How awesome was my 2013? Let me share it with you... Please click on this on the image to view. ^__^
One of the many highlights of my 2013 was when I got hired as a school teacher. I would love to talk about my adventures in school next time!
It's mid-week! Let's celebrate! ^__^
P.S: It's still taking me a while to blog more, but I am taking it one at a time. You know, school's really busy and all, and it is my first year of school teaching. I hope you all understand. Please do look forward for my future posts and reviews! ^__^

Out with the Old, In with the New: Happy 2014!
Hello dear friends!
I'm back for a quick post to greet and wish you all to...
May you all have a joyous and awesome year-end celebration tonight! ^__^
Oh! And I have news for all of you.
Bad/Sad News: I already quit my job as an online ESL teacher. It was a tough choice for me to make but I have to focus on my new career. I guess I'll just return when I am already stable in school.
Good News: I'll be back blogging again! I hope this time, time would permit me to blog more! ^__^
See you all again, soon!!! ^__^

FOTD 121812: An Afternoon Tryst
Annyeonghaseyo!!! ^__^
It's a cold Monday morning but it's nearly half way through 2013! It's also the first day of class for most students, so for sure, traffic will be congested around Manila and around the country! =D
I've been waiting for my school appointment until this last minute but it's okay. I'll just wait for the Division Office to call me. =)
Talk about school, I've got a make up tip for students. Always remember to keep your makeup simple. Just go with BB Cream or powder, a hint of blush and a swipe of lipstick or gloss. You would want to make a good impression and not scare away prospect friends. Besides, the teacher won't like it if you look like a person from the 80's sitting in the middle of a classroom of the 2000's. The key is to keep things light. ^__~

FOTD 111612: T-Ara's Eunjung Inspired Makeup
*** Updated. See below.
Happy Friday!!! ^__^
How long have I been gone? How long have I not posted FOTDs? It's been so long!!! So long that I had some old FOTDs from 2012 still waiting to be posted! Hahaha!
The last part of 2012 was not nice to my skin. So, when my skin cleared up, one boring day, I decided to play around with my stuff. I searched for an inspiration and scrambled my folders with the label "K-Pop Inspirations". Yes. I keep a folder of photos for inspiration and reference. =D
Lo and behold! I found one of the earliest photos that I saved. I think I saved these last 2010 or 2011! =D

Press Release: SEAIR flies to Laoag
Southeast Asian Airlines, Inc. (SEAIR) has announced that it will start flying to its newest destination, Laoag, on April 4, 2013. Flights will originate from the Manila Domestic Airport or Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 4.
The northernmost city of Laoag is the capital of Ilocos Norte. Laoag means “light” in Ilocano and the city is nicknamed “Sunshine City” for its year-round sunny weather. Laoag has an interesting mix of tradition and modernity, reflecting Spanish and Ilocano heritage. Kalesas or horse carriages still cruise the streets of downtown Laoag, bustling as it is with numerous business establishments, as the city is also the center of trade and commerce in the region. For history buffs, must-see sites include the Museo Ilocos Norte, which houses prehistoric tools that were used for hunting and fishing by early settlers, and the Sinking Bell Tower of St. William’s Cathedral, the largest and tallest in the country at 45 meters. Gourmands can explore the city through partaking of popular local dishes like bagnet (crispy pork belly), longganisa (sweet sausage links), empanada (a deep fried pastry stuffed with longganisa), and the simple but tasty vegetable soup dinengdeng.
Laoag is also the best jump-off point to some of the most breath-taking sights and destinations in the north such as Kabigan Falls and Blue Lagoon Cove in Pagudpud; the windmills in Bangui; Paoay Lake National Park, UNESCO World Heritage Paoay Church, and the Malacañang of the North or Balay ti Amianan (former President Marcos's official residence in Ilocos Norte) in Paoay; Cape Bojeador in Burgos; and the Sand Dunes of La Paz.
SEAIR will offer daily Manila-Laoag flights scheduled at 1:00 p.m. and Laoag-Manila flights at 3:00 p.m. It uses new A319 and A320 aircraft, which can accommodate up to 180 passengers.
SEAIR is offering introductory fares to Laoag at PHP 699 for travel until June 30, 2013. Passengers must book their tickets via www.tigerairways.com to avail of the special rates until April 8, 2013.
SEAIR is a 40-percent-owned associate airline of Tiger Airways Holdings. SEAIR adopts Tiger Airways’ business model and offers value fares to domestic and international destinations within a five-hour flying radius of the Philippines.
