Make Up Tutorial: Power Presentation Makeup Look

Happy Thursday loves!

I'm back with a tutorial! Weee! Finally! Haha!

Yesterday, I had a holiday (with the exception of three especially requested classes) so I had a lot of time to spare. However, since hubby also shares the same holiday with me, he kept me from tinkering with my computer. TT__TT

I was supposed to post this yesterday but I only got to finish editing it yesterday and uploaded it this morning. Sorry for letting you wait long.

Let's cut to the chase, shall we? Today, I shall be sharing with you a way on how to look good on a presentation. This is great for both college girls and as well as office workers that need to present in front of a crowd.

It is not enough that you are well-equipped with your reports and presentations. You should also look fresh as a daisy. It helps boost your confidence and therefore gives you an extra point for looking fab despite being under pressure. =D

Classy? ^__~

Wanna learn how I achieved it? Here's a quick tutorial on how I got the look!

PRODUCTS USED:

FACE:
Purederm Magic BB Cream
Nichido Foundation Stick in Beige
Avon Simply Pretty Shine No More Dual Foundation Powder in Almond
e.l.f Contouring Blush and Bronzing Powder
e.l.f Healthy Glow Bronzing Powder

EYES:
Natasha Beauty Eye Brow Pencil in Caramel Brown
e.l.f Primer and Sealer
The Body Shop Eye Color Matte in Shade #12
Wet N' Wild Mega Eyes Cream Eye Liner
Wet N' Wild Megaplump Mascara

Some people get intimidated by the power of the red lipstick all because they feel that it overpowers the overall look of a person. The trick is to keep everything simple. Also, it is best to wear red lipstick when paired with clear and smooth skin. Got some acne marks? Don't fret! You may use a medium to heavy coverage foundation and some concealer to cover up your flaws! If there's a will, there's a way, you know! ^__~

Follow these beauty equations:

O, ha! Effort!!! =D

I hope these helped! Please try it and show me your recreated look! ^__^

...and good luck with the presentation! ^__~

Do you like wearing red lipsticks? When do you wear them?

FOTD 080212: Sexy Vixen

Hello there! How are you doing? I'm sorry I've been gone for a whole week. The flood last week was terrible and I lost my internet connection for two days. With kids around, I can't edit my photos as for sure, they'll either bug me or play around while I work. You know, I got stuck in the second floor of my in-laws' house. My super kulit 1 year old sister-in-law, my 5 month old nephew, our helper's kids were there, too and a child actor (yes, a child actor - anyone here who watched "Alice Bungisngis and her Wonder Walis"? What about and the currently airing "Makapiling Kang Muli" (both shows are from GMA 7)? He's part of the cast. ;D). So imagine five kids in a room with me and my laptop? Not a good idea. =D

The traumatizing event that occurred last week has done some effect on me and my blogging. During my hiatus, I managed to gather a lot of ideas to blog about. And right now, they're stuck in my head.

Before the nameless disaster, I had a long mental list of what to blog... and since I missed a week of blogging, I had more of what to blog! I better remind myself to take it slowly! =D

Okay. On to this look.

Day 1

I wore this look last Thursday, August 2nd. This was supposed to be part of a tutorial but unfortunately, I didn't notice that I wasn't able to hit the record button. I mean, I hit it, but it didn't respond. =(

Since the look was quick and easy to do, I decided to wear it again on Friday. And I made sure I hit the record button before starting my antics. =D

I've been so lazy and exhausted in the past few days so I'm glad my blogging mojo is back! ^__^

Back from the Flood!

Hello there! Thank God I am still alive!

As you know, I got so much backlogs to work on these days. Unfortunately, the weather was too bad that we got flooded, had power shortage and I lost my internet connection for two and a half days. What's worse is, I wasn't able to teach my students for two days. =(

However, I am thankful because God kept me and my family safe, warm and full (we kept eating the whole time!). We were even able to celebrate our house helper's birthday with a small feast. =D

I shall work on my backlogs soon. I promise there's a lot in store for you. Right now, I suddenly feel sick and my body aches all over. I confess that I want to rest, but I can't. I gotta work because my birthday is coming and I want to treat myself.

I'll blabber about a of things soon. Hold on, okay?

Stressed, eh? =(

I hope every one is safe and sound. Take care!!!

FOTM 080212: Flush Blush

Happy Saturday morning! ^__^

Here's another FOTM (Face of the Morning) post! I had a few minutes to spare last Thursday, so, I thought of wearing a little more makeup. =D

Did you notice something different?

Sloping down liner

Slight wing

Still don't notice it?

You might think that my makeup looks just the same every Thursday and I'm sorry about that. But this one, it looks a bit different because I did something than the usual blush technique. ^__~

How I did it? I concentrated the blush only on the apples of my cheeks. As I was doing so, I already thought of what title to give this post. And the first word was "flush".

PRODUCTS USED:

FACE:

L'Oreal UV Perfect BB Max
Avon Simply Pretty Shine No More Dual Foundation Powder in Almond
e.l.f Contouring Blush and Bronzing Powder

EYES:
Natasha Beauty Eye Brow Pencil in Caramel Brown
e.l.f Primer and Sealer
Fanny Serrano Soft Eye Pencil in Black

LIPS:
Cover Girl Natureluxe Gloss Balm in Hibiscus

Feeling pretty, eh? =D

The blush looks a little more obvious on the last selca. I love the flush of color on my cheeks!

While waiting for my sister-in-law, I took a snapshot of my dress' fabric. Mom-in-law bought it. ^__^

So pretty... ^__^

Look at this tweaked photo... The neon effect made it prettier! ^__^

Do you want just a hint of color on your cheeks? Have you tried this technique?

FOTD 073112: Ulzzang-ish

Hello dear readers/followers! ^__^

It's Friday, and not just a simple Friday, but it is the first Friday of the month of August. That means there will only be two Fridays to go before my birthday! ^__^

-Ber months will come right after August ends. So, are you ready for it? Geez... Time flies so fast! But what makes me anticipate it is, our first wedding anniversary. Thinking about it makes me feel so giddy that I don't know what to do on our special day. Hmmm... Cook? Make a video? Record a song? Do a live song performance? Do cartwheels? XD

I'll challenge my mind later. For now, let me share with you my FOTD last Tuesday. I wasn't planning to wear any eyeshadow (or anything visible) but I got carried away. The original plan was only a wash of color. Then suddenly, my hand grew a mind of its own and picked up a bright and shimmery white shade from my e.l.f palette. My hand did what my mind had been mentally drawing on its own face chart. I've been wanting to wear an Ulzzang-inspired look, recalling the first ever ulzzang photo tutorial that I saw four years ago. Curious? Click this and you'll see the very first ulzzang tutorial I've seen. I gotta warn you. The before and after will seem kinda creepy to you, but hey, that's the very first ulzzang tutorial I've seen. =D

The one I have in mind makes use of shimmery white and brown eye shadow. Shimmery white eye shadow constantly reminds me of ulzzang. On the other hand, no matter how significant white eye liner is to this particular look, I avoid using it, as it breaks the look (in my case). Whenever I try using white eye liner in any look, it just don't work in any way. It could be that my Fashion 21 white liner isn't my soul mate...

And so, my hand picked the shimmery white shade and patted it on my lids like crazy. Then it took a brown shade and applied it to my crease. Since I really wanted to go for a softer look, I struggled with my hand (hahaha!) to make it look less visible, therefore, blending it more.

Lined my upper lash line with black to make my lashes look thicker.

Skipped the mascara.

Swiped a layer or two of lip balm topped with pink lipgloss. And viola! I'm done! ^__^

Get ready for picspam!!! =D

PRODUCTS USED:

FACE:

L'Oreal UV Perfect BB Max
Purederm Magic BB Cream
Avon Simply Pretty Shine No More Dual Foundation Powder in Almond
e.l.f Contouring Blush and Bronzing Powder

EYES:
Natasha Beauty Eye Brow Pencil in Caramel Brown
e.l.f Primer and Sealer
e.l.f Eye shadow palette in Natural (used the shimmery white shade)
Fanny Serrano Four Colour Eyeshadow in Earth (used the warm brown shade)
Fanny Serrano Soft Eye Pencil in Black

LIPS:
Cover Girl Natureluxe Gloss Balm in Hibiscus
Maybelline Volume Seduction XL Lip Plumper in Proud Pink

You might be wondering why I used two kinds of BB Creams for this look. Well, the first layer is to somewhat moisturize my skin (I skipped the moisturizer part and used L'Oreal UV Perfect BB Max right after the L'Oreal Youth Code Pre-Essence). There's actually nothing wrong with layering. The consistency of Purederm Magic BB Cream is thicker and gives more coverage. And lastly, I wanna empty the latter's tube already! =D

There you have it! My ulzzang-ish look. I shared it on Instagram and called it "Gyaru-ish", but it was really ulzzang-inspired. Gyah! What was I thinking?

Anyhoo, here's my favorite photo from the bunch:

What do you think? Which is your favorite?
^__^

I'm happy that aside from blogging, I am able to play with makeup these days. Watch out for a tutorial. For those who follow me on Instagram, you have an idea of the look already! ^__~
